  • Jaclyn Robertson

Owner of FIT4MOM Falls Church Vienna Fairfax and mom of three

Certified Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre, & Fit4Baby Fitness Instructor, Body Back Pro, FIT4MOM certified 360 & running coach

Why FIT4MOM? I have been a client for ten years, joining the Stroller Strides location in Santa Monica, CA after my oldest daughter was born. At that point, I needed exercise and I desperately needed mom friends. As a client, I never dreamed that this silly little thing called Stroller Strides could actually be more than just something I did with my daughter. When my family relocated to my home state when my daughter was toddler and my son was a newborn, I snatched up the Houston franchise when it became available to purchase. It was the scariest thing I have ever done! I had no background in fitness and had no clue how to run a business but I knew that if I needed FIT4MOM, then other moms did too.
We relocated again, this time for good, to Falls Church, VA and I had the opportunity to take over this village. Starting over from scratch with a newborn and two preschoolers in a brand new home was actually the scariest thing I have ever done ;) Moving here wasn't something I could have envisoned, but this village of moms is exactly where I was meant to be all along. We offer kick-butt fitness classes for all moms, but it's the village and community that makes us the best.

FIT4MOM changed my life, and if you give us a try...we'll do the same for you!

    Hi there!
I’m mom to 4 year old Drew and Luke who was born May 2020! We have been attending Stroller Strides since Drew was about 8 months old (and I'm so excited to have another Strides Baby). I was a new, working from home mom who wanted a group of women to tackle motherhood with! I have found such wonderful friends through Fit4Mom and see the motto “Strength in Motherhood” played out consistently in so many ways. We get a great workout in all while showing our babies staying active is both healthy and FUN. I can’t wait to meet you and your kiddo(s)!

  • Sophie Van Hees

    Hi, I’m Sophie!

Mom, wife, stepmom, seasoned expat, fiery redhead, certified yoga instructor, and French teacher.

Originally from Belgium, I have lived in three continents before moving to Seattle for love. Earlier this year I moved to Northern Virginia with my blended multicultural family: Dutch hubby, American step kids and melting-pot babies. Eliott is 13, Vera 9. Saskia was born in April 2019 and Georges (yes, with an “s”) in May 2020. 13 months apart, yep.

Yoga came into my life as I was living in Southeast Asia. Living an uprooted life was exciting, but stressful, and had taken a toll on my lower back. I first took it as physical therapy; it then grew on me. My high-energy, full hearted, scattered self had to learn that strength on its own was not enough to get through the life I wanted, I needed balance, flexibility and a centered and quiet mind to welcome struggles and changes as growth opportunities.

I joined Fit4mom in May 2019 in the suburbs of Seattle with my newborn daughter Saskia. I had seen something similar in the show Jane the Virgin, and was merely looking for a way to work out without having to pay for a babysitter. I was hooked right away, would not shut up about it. My mom and friends back home are jealous of Stroller Strides. I wanted to become an instructor from the get-go. We moved to Dunn Loring in March, and I joined this village as soon as the in person classes resumed. This village has been such an amazing bowl of fresh air and unconditional support through these trying times.

I can’t wait to give back by sharing my yoga practice and eventually maybe a few French songs on the plaza!
